Translation to English I like watching the sun's sleepy reflection in his car's rearview mirror as we journey back home. I like to imagine the darkness settling over the neighborhood where we live, as the journey concludes and familiarity replaces surprise. I like the repeated conversation defeating the silence and when I caress his neck, tensed to keep us safe. I like to open the home door and curiously smell the house we live in. I like when, upon entering, I find something I left behind and missed while I was away. I like to feel the fresh sheets we strategically changed before leaving to embrace us upon return. I like to savor the fresh water from the tap and think it has unique taste and maybe, some supernatural powers. I like to review the pictures of the journey and choose three favorites, those where the light hides the parts of me I don't want to see. I like to return to boredom, to balcony afternoons and crosswords, and to the unfounded terror of our comfortable routine. I like the spontaneous dinner of pizza and salad because we didn't have time to cook something better. I like his tired face with his two surrendered eyes, looking at me with affection; I like to close mines knowing that the journey will never end
